Redberry Farm

Redberry Farm Strawberry Picking in George If you are looking for a fun day out there is nothing that rivals the Redberry Farm experience.  As one enters the farming area just outside George on the Geelhoutboom Road, you will be in awe of the rows and rows of strawberries.  Once you’ve chosen your container, you will be guided to the “Pick Your Own” strawberry fields, where you can take a carefree walk through the farm. The best time for juicy sweet strawberry picking is from August to January, although Redberry Farm in George does pride itself in having strawberries all year round. Tea Garden in George After filling your container, head to the Redberry Farm Tea Garden and indulge in the most delicious farm fresh treats. The scones are an experience not to be missed – topped with farm butter, homemade strawberry preserve and fresh clotted cream.  All this offered just outside of George with the majestic Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
